Was very surprised how great the place was! Would recommend it in a heartbeat. Very informative and lots of info. Go eat across the highway at the SmokeStack Restaurant. Very nice.
Great experience. Town had more to offer than I realized in its day. Hard to belive this tiny dust spot was so huge at one time. Even the kids enjoyed themselves.
Wonderful place to visit. Very informative on a coal mining town that has almost disappeared, . Thurber, Texas. Many other historical structures to visit that are rumoured to have ghost. Bath soaps are sold here that is made by a Thurber, Texas family. The soap is moisturizing and smells great.
It's very historical and interesting. There's a tour guide to show you around. You can see the smoke stack from across the highway. Overall, a great tourist destination in Texas.
